Date: 6-6-'38Barrels, churns and firkins were made by the Lavins of Crenane and by the Corcorans of Market Street. These people are locally called "coopers" and that is why we have such names of "Cooper" Lavin.
Soap was made out of lard by people who lived in Lung. They used to sell it at the fairs or markets.
