- (continued from previous page)cast up great piles of clay from the ground. That night one of the men got very sick and died. The funeral arrangements were made for the next day but no one could be found to make the grave. When they reached the graveyard they again saw the clay being flung up in the air. This was the wild animal that wanted to punish the man. It was raining very heavily and they were a long time making the grave; and so the people believed that this incident showed that the poor man would be suffering a long time hereafter.
