    The longest way round is the shortest way home.
    A man in former times making a near cut home lost his way and met his death by falling into a drain. In a year after the wife and daughter of the deceased man passed where the accidental death occurred. The mother remarked to the daughter. "It was this day twelve months your father was found dead here." The daughter replied "had he taken round about he would have reached home before to-day."
    There are none so blind as they that will not see.
