    Mullagh - na - Sidhe.
    Simon Hanley was one time king of the fairies of Mullagh - na - Sidhe and is burried there where the old Steeple now is. He is said to have helped the poor people of the place by putting money on the flagstone on the top of the Fairy mound.
    They went to the mound asked their request and then turned their backs and on turned around found the golden coins on the stone.
    Simon was born in Mount Cashel and at a young age was taken to Fairymount by the fairies who made him their king.
    Simon Tonry was another king of the Curraghroe fairies and having some dispute with the King of Fairymount went to war with him.
    Simon Hanley was a great fighter on the ground while the other king excelled in the air.
    Lots were cast to see how the fight was to be carried out and Simon Tonry won - the fight taking place in the air.
