- (continued from previous page)The name is now confined to a small patch of bog, between Corlishea, Cloonee and Booklagh. It formerly extended as far as Sean Cuach and Poll na Muine on the County Roscommon Border. Stumps of Oak Trees are every-where to be seen.
- Durrow was Doire, - an Oak wood. There is the remains of a fort.

Durrow - Opposite the Garda Barracks in Ballymoe there is a gate and entrance to Griffin's house in Durrow. If you go about 90 yards towards Griffin's house and then turn at right angles to the river for about 30 or 40 yards you come to a spot where St. Mob's well was. Who(continues on next page)
