- Herbs are very harmful especially on tillage. The most harmful are: the Chicken weed, the Thistle, the Nettle, the "Docked", the Rib weed, the Scutch grass, the Dandelion, and the Furán.The Chicken weed grows on potatoes mostly. It is very hard to dig potatoes with it, and it also stops the crop from growing.The Thistle grows in the Oats or on pasture land. It is not as harmful as the Chicken weed.
