    A plaster made from the root of "Comphry" was used in the setting of bones.
    Cumphry also used for drawing & healing sores.
    Goose lard used for Sprains.
    Sore Eyes
    Pluck 10 gooseberry thorns. Point 9 of them at the sore eye. Throw the tenth over the left shoulder.
    Ring worm
    Cured by 7th Son
    Sore Throat or lips.
    Cured by a posthumous child blowing its breath on the part.
    Calf pock
    Mix gunpowder and unsalted butter & rub the part with the mixture.
