My afternoon tea.All alone I was enjoying
A sup from "the cup that cheers"
Until music most annoying
Came thundering in my ears.Jumping up from my seat
With fork and knife in hand,
And beating a hasty retreat
Ere I would make a stand.My excitement and my worry
Was plain to be seen
By the Piper in his hurry
Playing "The wearin' of the Green."Looking at the table knife
The music soon was stopped
Then fleeing for his life
