    fort. He said he would go in to see what was going on. When he went in, he saw dozens of fairies singing and dancing. Some of them asked the farmer to join the fun they were having. But he told them that he was in a hurry home because he had been in a neighbour's house all night at a wedding. But they said that he should stop with them. But he said he would not. Then, when they saw he was so stubborn, they began to thump and beat him.
    After a while they let him out. Then the man went home, he went to bed and remained there for three weeks as a result of the beating.
