- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There was a big flat stone in the middle of Gort Bráthair and the old people said that lutharagans used to live under this stone. The old people wouldn't touch this stone because they believed the lutharagans would harm them if they interfered with the stone in any way.
A neighbour and myself lifted this stone about 33 years ago, and we found a heap of different shells under it. The shells were all empty and the under side of the stone was as black as soot, just like a hob stone.
