    One night very late as two men were returning home from playing cards they had to pass by a lios and just as they were passing they saw a light.

    that the light was close on them and saw clearly that there was nobody with it. They started to run but the faster they ran the faster the light travelled and it did not disappear until they were nearly home.
    They were tired and frightened when they reached home and made sure from that time forward that they never passed the lios again after night.
