- We have a churn. It is a dash churn. It is cylindrical shaped. It is fifteen years old now. the parts of the churn are, the dash, the coipzin, and the churn cup.
We churn twice weekly in Winter and three times in Summer. We all help in churning. During the churning, if any stranger comes in, he is supposed to give a hand at the churning or if he didn't he would bring the butter.
The churning takes from twenty to twenty - five minutes. It is done by the hand'
When the churning is finished teh butter gathers together on the top of the milk and so it is you know it is made. In Winter time hot water is poured in to help to churn it, as it is hard(continues on next page)- Collector
