    Cotton cloth is used. There is no flax grown locally so there are no linen shirts. Long ago all the people wore linen shirts.
    Socks and stockings are knitted locally. The thread is spun in very few homes. It is bought in the shop. There are about ten spinning-wheels in this district.
    Special types of clothes are not worn locally on any occasion. Black is worn at the death of a relative.
