    will not long remain so. Smoke often indicates the weather. When it ascends in a straight line from the chimney it is supposed to denote fine weather. When the fire blaze is blue, rain is near. When the fire is slow to kindle rain is convenient. People living near the sea are supposed to be better judges of the weather than those who live inland. Those signs are only guess work for it is according to the Will of God the weather will be.
