  1. 1. To eat the leavings of a ferret's food would cure the whooping cough.
    2. To go between the legs of an animal you would see the wind.
    3. To drink asse's milk would cure decline.
    4. To cure warts get three or five jack-stones and tie them in a peice of a rag and go on a journey and the first cross-roads you would meet throw them there and who ever would pick them up would take the warts from you.
    5. When you would be going on a journey and meet a woman with a white paisley shawl she would give you a cure for a headache.
    6. For pain in your back scrape the dirt off the floor and boil it in hot water
