    Théigheadh Muirionn ó áit g h-áit. Uair a bhí sí ins an Oileán Faoide le h-ais Beanntraighe. D'fhiafruigh comharsa dí conus a thaithn an áit léi. 'Sé seo an freagra a thug sí dó:-
    Ní thaithneann na h-aírd liom ná bántacht na mísleacht
    Agus ní bhfhuaras mo shláinte ó thánag do'n tír seo,
    Ach iompiláil 'dir bhádaibh ó Baile Caisleáin go Faoide,
    Is mar ar thaithghis do bhfearr liom 'dir Bhearnes is Buidhe Bheith.
