dog know when we are going to get bad weather. The cat sits near the fire and the dog eats grass when it is going to rain and the sheep come down from the hill to the land. The sky is covered with clouds when it is going to rain. The rocks are shining grey when it is going to rain. The hills seem near to us when it is going to rain. If the fog reaches the top of the hill we get rain.
If the smoke goes up the chimney and comes down again or when the soot falls it indicates rain.
