    the woman began to tell her story about her husband. When she had her story finished, Maire told her to come along this road the following evening. She also told her to bring an old handkerchief belonging to her husband. Both of us will go to the grave-yard and I will bring a fist full of the earth of your mother in laws grave. Bring this earth home carefully and rub it to your husband's knee three times every day and his knee will get better. Mrs Reilly did as she was told and his knee got better.
