Two sticks would be put into the wall, and the thread would be put under one stick and over the other. It would be put on like that until six hundred thread would be on the sticks. It used be brought to the weaver after that, and he would make flannel of it. It used be scoured then to make it warm. and fine. After that it used be worn.- Collector
