    and they leave one or two eyes in each piece. The pieces are called scioláns. The pieces that are left are called scilogs. My grandmother and my mother cut the scioláns at home. My father and brother sow them. They have a bag tied around their waist and they fill it with scioláns. They have a spade in their left hand and the scioláns in their right hand. They use a light spade. Afterward somebody close the holes with a pike. Potatoes are sowed in February March and April
