- (continued from previous page)told me that when the residence was being built the local peasants were made cut their legs and let the blood mix with the mortar that was used to build the residence to make it firm. we do not know whether this is a fact or not but we do know for truth that the blood of oxen was mostly mixed with the mortar to make it firm.
