- The name given to my Townland Cranagh, Drum, Athlone. There are twenty three houses in it. The number of people living in my village is about one hundred and eight. The name most common is Harney. The majority of the houses are thatched.
My Townland got its name from trees that was growing there. There are not many houses in roads. The land is good and the bog is very near. There is a stream separating, Cranagh from Kielty. The name given to it is the súilín.- Collector
