The Cabhlach Field so called because there is an old ruin in it supposed to have been occupied by a Lynch family long ago.
The Pound because it is circular in shape and surrounded by a stone fence.
Páirc íseal so called because it is situated in a glen. - Cnoch dá Radharch - so called because of the fine scenery that can be seen from it.
Standing on it the Kerry Mountains, Dunmanus Bay, Whiddy Island and Bantry Bay can be seen to the North. Kilcoe castle, Baltimore and Cape Clear can be seen to the South.
Péicín - because it comes to a point at the top.
