  1. Many years ago a woman lived in Rerahanagh. Her last hour was drawing near so she sent for the priest.
    The priest was Father Long. He disliked very much to go out in the night so he took his servant with him, on the horse behind him.
    When they reached Baunahow cross they saw two lights.
    Did you see those two lights, John? said the priest to the boy.
    No, said the boy. Well said the priest, put your right foot on my right foot and look over my right shoulder?
    The boy did as he was told and he saw the lights. Then the priest asked him if the woman buried any children.
