When we see, sea-birds flying inland that is a sign that a storm is approaching us, and when snails are seen creeping on walls of houses that is a sign of rain. Swans flying in an easterly direction show the dry weather is approaching us. Flying ants indicate rain, but if they come indoors it is a sign of a bad thunder-storm approaching us.
