One rainy Sunday morning the floods were high in the rivers and one priest was lost while travelling on horseback near Letter, where he was drowned is known as Poullick. He was found that evening by men that were in search of him. The remains of the old church where he usually said Mass is still to be seen. Lights were seen about the old church for long years after his death.
