    Little Miss Annie sits in a puddle
    She wears a green dress & a white petticoat.
    Ans: A Rush.

    As I went out for a walk one day,
    I met a thing in a cock of hay,
    It was neither fish, flesh, feather, or bone,
    And in three week's time it walked alone.
    Ans: An Egg.

    Through a rock, through a reel,
    Through an old spinning wheel,
    Through a basin full of pepper,
    Through an old sheep's throttle.
    Through a horse's shin bone,
    And that's the greatest riddle ever was known.
    Ans: Thunder.

    As I went up my father's gap,
    I met a little boy with a red cap,
    He had "Up Jack! Down Tom!"
    Blow the bellows, old man."
    Ans. A blacksmith and his anvil.
