    adjoining a fort owned at the present day by a Mr Keohane. When he got old and infirm and the fears of Cromwell were gone he seemed to be in want of food. Some neighbours came to see him and wondered why he was so badly off. They asked him what he had done with all his wealth, his only answer was that he had buried it. Some days before he died they pressed him very hard to tell them the exact spot where he had hidden it. But he passed quietly away taking with him to his grave the secret of his treasure. So on one knows up to the present day where the boot containing the treasure is hidden. People of the locality have tried many a time to locate the spot. In fact one of our local diviners tried to locate it but failed.
