    When a deal is made the parties show agreement by striking hands. 'Tanglers' attend the fair regularly. When a deal is being made they come on the scene + usually speak in favour of the purchaser. When he has purchased they again approach him + solicit cash for their services. This varies from 2/6 to of according to the amount of the purchase money. Very often on seeing a bargain they interfere in such a way as to keep out all prospective purchasers + when this is done they purchase for themselves.
    Cows are sometimes led to fair by means of a halter. The halter is handed over to the purchaser.
