    time of spraying is come about the end of June.
    In some cases the see are picked on November or December and placed in boxes to sprout and then they are taken carefully out of the boxes and placed in the ground and covered carefully. In other cases people cut the see.
    People help one another to sow the sgiollans. During the Summer months the potatoes are sprayed, the first spraying takes place about the twentieth of June. the potatoes are dug out in October with horses and plough and then stored in pits.
    The names of the potatoes grown in this district are Kerrs pink, Champions, Arran banners, Arran chiefs, Arran consuls, Arran victors, British queens and Epicures.
