2. Long ago it was the custom to bring in the sow to farrow into the kitchen.
This custom is still in Ireland.
Mr. Healy, Tullyglass brings in the sow to farrow because they say you would not have any luck unless you bring her in. Mr. Healy is a very smart man and he has been to America but he does not like to break the old custom.
