  1. Many remember a great snow storm in 1855. The snow was so very deep that it was as high as the tree tops. Numbers of people were lost in this storm and when the snow hardened people were enabled to walk on it but no animal could travel.
    A certain man lost his watch and when he found it again after a week had elapsed it was still going.
