    O Connell said to him "Where are you going? Go back, If you havent done any good you have'nt done any harm."
    When John Isac Herd was dying, These are the last words he said. "Oh my fine horses and sweet Ballydaly." He ordered his men to have the horses shot so that no one could have them after him. The horses were taken to Knocknohillan, shot and buried there. This was a part of his estate also.
