In 1907 a further portion was demolished by vandals in search of building material.The overland approach is from the main road at the village of Srelane (Ovens) From here a well kept by-road leads in a N.E. direction through the townlands of Mullagh Ruadh and Ballybritain to Castleinch
- Innislinga Abbey was situated near the north bank of the Lee, one mile from Castleinch. The graveyard still remains, but the walls of the Friary are gone. It had direct communication with Kilcrea Abbey which verifies the poem of " Kilcrea ".
