    There lived at one time in Blarney, a man who dreamt that a can of gold was hidden on the bridge of Macroom.

    Needless to say, he delayed no longer in Macroom, but set off post haste until he arrived in Blarney.
    There he set to work, and to his intense joy discovered the hidden treasure about two feet down, thereby ensuring himself a life free from care ever afterwards.
