    There is a fort in Ellis's land on the Eastern side of the main road leading from the "Bog" road to the Mallow road. The fort is about 2.5 miles from Blarney.There is a story told about it and this is it.
    Long ago a couple of men were digging in it and all of a sudden a man rose up in it dressed in a coat and cap. When the men saw him they all ran away
