    beautiful view of the surrounding country can be obtained. The lake being the most beautiful one.
    This lake is supposed to contain valuable things.
    During the Penal days the English wanted the riches from the Mc Carthy's, through hatred of the English they threw their riches into the lake. It is said that a secret passage from the Castle to the lake, also is said that every 7 years Mc Carthy appears & when somebody will see him their reward will be the riches in the lake.
