- "Faggot Hill" is in the North Parish, Cork, in the townland of Clogheen. It is said that long ago people used to cut faggots there. Then they would sell them in Cork for bedding for horses and cows and that is why it is called "Faggot Hill".
- "Paud's Cross" is situated about a mile from Blarney. It is in the townland of Boolypatrick and in the Parish of Blarney. Long ago a man named Diarmuid Kelleher lived there but he was known as Paud Kelleher and when he died they called the cross where he lived "Paud's Cross".
