   There is a holy well in Ballinora. It is called All Saints well. There is a big tree growing over it. There are medals and buttons on it. There is a big hole under the tree. The local people get their drinking water from this well.

   Shovel Mill. There is the ruin of an old shovel mill in Curraheen. They made shovels and shades there long ago. They also made fittings for ploughs. The mill was driven by a mill wheel. This wheel was driven by the stream. There was a huge hammer in it. They made the iron red hot first and then they shaped it with the hammer. Some of the walls of the mill are standing still.
