In time it became an understood thing that Shaun na Voher had the best cow in all the district.
The feeding power of Shaun's post became a sort of local legend and was talked of for many years after Shaun's death.
And whenever anyone wanted to give an impressive account of good cattle they always described them as "being as well fed as if tied to Shaun na Voher's post.- Collector
