- Weather Lore.There are many signs with regards to the weather given by old people.
Some of the local beliefs are, that around certain feast days we have storms. For example St.Bridget's day, St. Patrick's day,and
St.Benjamin's day. These are generally called Rabhta Breeda, Rabhta Padraig, and Rabhta Beirceart. Another belief is that if St. Swithin's day the fifteenth of July will be raining it will rain for forty days and if it will be fine we will have fine, for forty days.
