  1. We had a great snow storm in "67" the year of the Fenian rising. The snow was piled up in great drifts. Some of which remained in the ditches well into the first month of summer. The fall took place in March.
    On the morning of the rising we had also a very heavy snow-storm some forty or more years ago.
