    A story is told in this district of a fairy fort.

    The man was on horse back the nurse also went on the horse and they rode away.
    The horse went so quick that the woman thought she was about sixty miles from her home.
    At last they landed at a small house. When the woman entered the room she saw a hand-some young girl about 20 years. She had lovely golden hair. There was a baby born to the girl.
    The nurse was very troubled for she did not know where she was. The man then took the nurse home. When she went home she found out it was a fairy fort she had visited.
    About five or six years after the woman was at a fair in Newmarket. A person tipped the woman on the shoulder and she looked around to know who tipped her.
    To her surprise she found it was the fairy man and he put a ten shilling note into her hand. She ran away with fright, and when she looked for the ten
