Some years ago three men ploughed the fort, and before six months were up, the three men were dead.

A light is seen every Christmas night at one o'clock in a fort belonging to Mr John Flynn of Gooseberryhill.My father told me that unbaptized children were buried in the fort in Mr Murphy's land in Graunavorrig.
