blessed by one of three sisters. Another blessed a well at Dromtariffe, and a third 'Theran' blessed another at Cullen.
It was reported that a man who had sore eyes was cured here.
Invalids and pilgrims drink the water but they do not bathe in it.
Relics such as cups, broken bits of china, and rags are left behind. Some pieces of money can be seen in the well.
There is a fish in the well and if any one interfered with the fish or the well he would be cursed. No man has ever meddled with the well because he would be afraid of being struck down by sudden death or serious illness.
In the middle of the clump of furze bushes is a very old white-thorn.
There are not any rags on this bush but the rags are tied to the furze bushes overhanging the well.
