- One night a beggar woman came to a farmer's house for milk. She met the woman of the house and she asked her for milk but the woman of the house said she had no milk but that if she would go down to that house below in the trees meaning a Churchyard she would get it, the strange woman then went away.
Before one week the woman who refused the milk was dead and buried in that Churchyard. As it was very dark when she asked for the milk it was doubtful whether she was a Ghost from the Churchyard or a living woman. - There was a "Lis" in a certain man's land and there were sallies growing in it. One time the man cut sally out of the "Lis" this happened during the month of November and after that every month of November his neck swelled (used swell) and it was during the month of November he died.
