  1. There are three Holy Wells in this locality, one in Droumtariffe, another in Kilmeen, and the third in Cullen.
    The well in Cullen is about four miles west of the village of Boherbue.
    Pilgrimages are made to this well on the Sunday nearest to July 25th each year.
    Saint Lateran is the Saint honoured at Cullen Well.
    Many years ago it is said that three sisters live in a house near a forge in Cullen.
