    Bread was made from wheat, corn and corn oats grown locally. The flour was made locally. The flour was made locally. People don't remember querns. They did hear querns were used in the district. The different kinds of bread were as follows: - Potatoe cake, stamy, oatmeal and seed cake. Potatoe cake is made of grated potatoes etc. Oatmeal cake was made of oatenmeal etc. Bread was baked every day. There were no marks put on the bread. The bread was baked in a griddle. Bread was often baked in front of the fire. The support was a tin dish.
