    I got the following from Mr. Connell. It was composed by a Father O'Sullivan a curate in Banteer parish 16 years ago:-
    It is as follows:-
    Where e'er you roam,
    Away from home,
    Your eyes may gaze,
    On many a scene,
    For beauty's rare,
    And balmy air,
    None can compare,
    With Fair Clonmeen.
