The following are the names of the fields on our farm.
Brook field beause there is a stream running through it. The four, five and ten acre fields, they are called this because of their acerage. Páirc na Caoire is the name in which sheep were mocked kept long ago.
Those are the names of fields which are owned by neighbours, namely, The Hangman's Field owned by Mr. Hartnett. People were hanged there in Cromwell's time.
